The bright lights of Christmas are behind us, and we’re now into the depths of winter – so it must be time to bring a little sun into your life, with a fabulous spray tan!

Spray tans are much safer than UV beds, as they involve no exposure to potentially harmful UVA and UVB rays. And just as with all my other treatments, I can do it in the comfort of your own home with my mobile tanning tent.

There are a few things you’ll need to do to prepare for your tanning session, to get the best foundation for your beautiful new tan.

First of all, you ‘ll need to shower, shave and exfoliate before treatments. Ideally, moisturise overnight the night before – but you will need to rinse off any moisturiser before we start. All of this preparation will allow maximum absorption of the spray into your skin, make it look better and last longer.

Avoid perfumes and deodorants for the same reason – and make sure you’re not wearing any jewellery before we start as well. Wear dark, loose cotton clothing afterwards (no tight waistbands!).

I use Sienna X. It is a smooth solution, suitable for all skin types, which once developed gives off a soft golden glow. It’s an express tanning option, which means you’ll only need to wait one, two or three hours before showering to get your ideal tone. With Sienna X…..no more orange tans! Don’t worry if it doesn’t look immediately picture-perfect, either – after it’s been applied, one hour later your tan will have developed a subtle look; after two hours it will become a little darker; and after three hours it becomes even darker. Your spray tan will continue to develop, even after showering. Just remember, you don’t need to leave it on overnight or all day to get the best from it.

To prolong your tan, make sure you look after your skin. Drink plenty of water every day, and don’t forget to moisturise regularly as well. The happier your skin is, the longer your tan will last. Book in for your session today! Book Now
